PZYK 2021 — 15 May 2021

Due to the current uncertainty around the Covid-19 situation in the UK, we have no choice but to re-schedule PZYK to 15 May 2021.
We’re massively disappointed to have to make this switch, and have been considering various different alternatives over the past 10 days. Having looked at all new date options from autumn onwards, and in consultation with our venues, the most suitable (and safest) option is to postpone the festival until 2021. This means we can also utilise the same spaces and make PZYK the best experience possible for everyone.
We are working closely with all artists and their schedules to ensure as many of them as possible can join us for the re-scheduled date. We will make a further announcement regarding the line-up and any new additions in the coming months.
All original tickets remain valid for the re-arranged date. If you would like a refund, please contact Eventim here.

Stay safe, stay #PZYK – and see you in 2021.

If you look at some of the most exciting and innovative music that has been coming out of Sheffield in recent years – from the psychedelic electronic rock of The Moonlandingz, to the electro party pop that is International Teachers Of Pop, to the folkloric radiophonic avant garde Of Eccentronic Research Council – at the forefront of all these projects is a man called Adrian Flanagan. ADULT ENTERTAINMENT is his latest project where he has teamed up with Salford’s very own Queen of the Underground, and ‘ace face’ of Salford’s very own church of outsider rave, The White Hotel, singer and lyricist Charlotte Cannon.

Together, Flanagan and Cannon specialise in cerebral, erotic and electronic beat music. Adult Entertainment an intoxicating brew of early acid house, tape echo dub, 1920s Berlin cabaret and twilight zone club bangers with lyrics that are somewhere between William S Burroughs and Cosey Fanni Tutti. All performed by Cannon who looks like a genuine Warhol superstar in the making.
